The aim of this pack is to provide clear guidelines for staff and volunteers who run local groups. This should help ensure that children and young people are safe in your care. It also enables you to provide information for parents and children about the Child-Safe measures your club has in place If you choose to implement the Clubright pack, in your club, it will help to keep children safe. It will also help to alert you and your organisation to issues of child abuse generally and guide you through the steps to take if any form of abuse is discovered or suspected. The protection of children is the responsibility of everyone. This Clubright pack is available for order.* The pack contents are as follows:
If you live, or your youth organisation is based in one of the Child-Safe Partnership Areas, you are eligible to receive a free resource pack. In these areas the Local Safeguarding Children Board (previously Area child Protection Committees) have endorsed and supported the development of a local bespoke product. The pack has been specifically tailored (with appropriate local contact details and logos) for that area. To receive your free pack, contact your regional Child-Safe office ( Regional Contacts). If you live outside the Child-Safe Partnership areas, please note that currently all packs are bespoke to a particular Child-Safe Partnership area. This resource is, however, useable within any organisation outside the Partnership areas as a model for the development inclusion of child protection. However, the local professional contact details will need to be made relevant for your own local use. When ordering this pack you will be sent the most up-to-date version currently available. Alternatively, should you or your oganisation be interested in having your own bespoke resource pack, please contact Child-Safe for further details. *Currently all Child-Safe packs are bespoke to a particular area, for example, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset, etc. The pack will have been specifically tailored (with appropriate local contact details and logos) for that area.
