Bristol Clubright Seminars

Information about the speaker:

David Niven Associates (DNA) has been invited to work with the charity Child-Safe as a training provider as it promotes its work home and abroad. We’re really pleased to welcome Tony Domaille from DNA as the regular lead at the Clubright seminars in Bristol. Tony has thirty years experience as a police officer, has extensive experience in the field of child protection and is able to draw upon a whole range of skills as an investigator, practitioner and trainer.

Child-Safe is a national child protection charity. One of its initiatives is the Clubright resource pack for non-affiliated sport and community groups that has been adapted for local delivery in Bristol. The Clubright aims are to provide practical advice, promote the safety, welfare and pastoral care of children and young people involved in these activities. Child-Safe's product portfolio promotes good practice, provides support and advice to parents, organisers, volunteers, schools and, most importantly, children and young people themselves. The scheme is entirely free of charge and provides clubs with a seminar and resource pack to enable them to put child protection measures in place.

Comments from attendees ‘…A very informative and helpful seminar which has filled me with the confidence to implement a Child Protection Policy that is suitable for our organisation and safeguarding the young people.’ ‘Seminar was excellent… I feel I needed to know more in depth info and be able to practice what is stated in our policies. I’m going to need help in doing so and this seminar has shown me there is help out there and I will be using it. Thank you.’
