Use of the Child-Safe logo

The Child-Safe logo and products are copyright property of Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The logo may NOT be used without first obtaining agreement from Child-Safe. To do this you need to follow the steps outlined below:

  • Either e-mail or write to the Child-Safe office* with information about your organisation/group, including details about the services you offer. Let us know if you have attended a Child-Safe seminar (including the date and venue) and tell us how you have implemented, and are currently using, Child-Safe. Please include how you intend to use the Child-Safe logo, e.g., for use on letterhead, promotional literature, website or clothing, etc. The information you provide will be passed to the Head of the Child-Safe Unit.
  • If Child-Safe are happy to give their permission, we will confirm this in writing. We will also send you the Child-Safe logo. Please note: Generally, we will not agree to use of the logo on its own, however we will provide you with a brief form of wording to use alongside.
  • Once you have incorporated the logo, we ask that you send a copy showing your use to Child-Safe. This information will be kept on file along with our agreed authority.

*Please see the contact page for details.
