Dublin City Marathon - 29 October 2001

On Monday 29th October 2001, Child-Safe recruited several people who were prepared to run the streets of Dublin in order to raise funds for the charity.

The atmosphere on the day was superb and there were thousands of other entrants running for their own reasons. The weather held and everyone of the group completed their 26 miles, raising a large sum of money for the charity they had so kindly chosen to run for.

Good food and a very well deserved pint or two of Guinness were consumed afterwards.

Child-Safe thanks all those who gave up their time to train for the event and take time out to go across to Dublin, for the actual event.
