Where? Xcel Leisure Centre, Coventry.

Sport England and the Child Protection in Sport Unit are supporting Coventry Sports Foundation, the Geese Theatre Company and Brunel University in offering you an opportunity to attend this unique national sports safeguarding event. It will include ground-breaking applied theatre performances, a range of presentations from experts including Professor Celia Brackenridge, Andrew Flanagan (Chief Executive NSPCC) and Mike Diaper (Executive Director, Sport England) and opportunities to share examples of good practice.

In addition the event will be used as an opportunity to: celebrate and acknowledge the effort, commitment and success of NGBs and CSPs achieving the requirements of all three levels of the sports Safeguarding Standards; officially launch the 'Call to Action' - the new five year national vision for safeguarding across the sports sector, together with the post-standards safeguarding framework for CSPs and funded NGBs.
